last night america made a decision
today i made a decision too
i put an chevrolet on my wishlist
its a 2009 camaro or a volt
if i can afford i will buy both of them
one for passion and another one for reasons of economy and our enviroment

as everyone knows
we build gorgeous cars in germany too

until last night
i could not drive an american car with a clear conscience

last night america took a new road
i want to drive this way too

the american dream
has always been a dream of a better world for all
which has been shared all over the world

i am happy that i know today
the dream survived in your hearts
and the wish for good
is much stronger than fear and anger

until today i can´t see a lot of american cars
on the streets of berlin
i remember there where a lot of them in the eighties
my teacher drove one camaro that time

i am sure that this will change now
and so your economy will become strong again

dont forget that you are not alone in this world
and not alone in your country

do good, work hard, think for yourself and be responsible !
